Manage YouStar Studios productions, spaces, equipment, workshops, events, budgets and promotional material
Produce, direct and edit Alkek One’s educational and promotional videos on a traditional and virtual set
Create and teach four-part NASA micro-credential workshops about media production for students, faculty and staff four times a year
Create asynchronous training for video and audio production hardware and software for students
Conduct individual consultations with faculty and staff to implement video and audio into curriculum
Supervise and train Graphic Designer, Audio Specialist and student employees on video and audio equipment
Major achievements include: launch of virtual production studio powered by Unreal Engine, creation of “Introduction to Video and Audio Editing” and “Make Your Own Podcast” micro-credential workshops backed by NASA’s Minority University Research and Education Project program and creation of a professional development workshop for K-12 teachers with the LBJ Institute for STEM Education and Research’s STEM for All program
